My original painted image, and my Film Grain image. These have a clear, beautiful look. My eyes blend better with the film grain, but both are perfect for a before and after scene. I think the original seems cleaer. I like the 'Sin City' look with the black and white, but with added colour in selected areas.
Jacob, definitely a sense of alter-ego or alternative identity being developed in your work. Why are you looking up? It gives me a sense of prayer, or looking for help. What does it do for you? Think about your composition and framing as well as the effects you do after the image has been made. A great shot that can hold a lot of meaning.
